Event Registration Information
Information Shared in the Registration Systems
Payment Information -Until we have a payment system lined up online, we will refer registrants to pay their Local Extension Unit, and we will invoice you.
Example from Discovery Days, in their Confirmation Email = Your registration has been confirmed. Please save this email for future reference. Take your payment to your local Extension Office.
Cancellation Information – We have established a cancellation policy plan for our educational opportunities.
Cancellations on or before (Registration Deadline) will be charged a 50% Cancellation Fee. Cancellations after (Registration Deadline) will be charged the full base registration fee.
Chaperones Needed for Events
Event Registration Listings are posted weekly on TEAMS and closer to the registration deadline, at least twice a week. It is vital that Extension Units review these listings and note if they have registrations to ensure chaperones get registered.
Many events have special requirements posted about chaperones. Events such as Shutterbug, Insect Spectacular, etc., have instructions when the registration opens, explaining that all members of a family or group MUST register. If we post the registration for these events and an Extension Unit has a youth registered but no one else, the family needs to be notified that a parent or designated chaperone MUST register.
Example – From Insect Spectacular – In the registration system - Full Participant registration fee of $85.00 includes supper Friday, lunch Saturday, bottled water, class materials, T-Shirt, and handouts. 4-H Members enrolled in Entomology should pay for full registration.
Additional Participants = Younger siblings under 4-H age, spouses, etc. that may be coming along, but not participating in the classes will need to pay a fee of $55.00. This will pay for the meals, bottled water, etc., but will not include a T-shirt or class supplies.
